The Endorphin Effect
How do you feel? Right now are you grounded, peaceful and connected? Or up-tight, edgy, irritable? We often assume that how we feel is down to external events, many of them beyond our control. But your state of mind is rooted in your body and The Endorphin Effect can help you stay grounded and calm even under stress.
The Endorphin Effect is a form of meditation developed by William Bloom. It brings together ancient Taoist practice and cutting edge scientific research. There are several strands to the practice, but the key is learning to trigger the production of a number of powerful hormones, notably endorphins.
Endorphins:
- reduce stress
- relieve pain
- enhance the immune system, and
- may slow the process of ageing.
This is a foundation skill we can all benefit from every day.
The Endorphin Effect:
- is practical and easy to understand
- creates a firm foundation for holistic healthcare and
- enhances personal and spiritual development.
The principle at the heart of The Endorphin Effect is beautifully simple: Endorphins make you feel wonderful, and with just a little attention from your conscious mind your body will produce them naturally. As well as making you feel great, endorphins lower your stress levels, boost your immune system, and encourage healing.
Sounds too good to be true? Try it for yourself!
